During the later part of the mid-1990's, a small group of ambitious young men came together to establish a new Greek organization at the Florida State University. Committed to creating an outlet for motivated Minority Students on campus, these four men approached school administrators in the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Office of Greek Life to share their ideas. With the interest and approval of University Officials, these men embarked on their journey to charter the Florida State University Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc.
